The second edition of the Sonic Lecture series with Dash a.k.a. Steffen Korthals is about the female perspective in club culture. His talk guest, Rosa D'Addetta, the Dortmund DJ icon, introduces female artists who decisively shape (and have shaped) this culture.

For our first film evening, Stefan Panhans and Andrea Winkler, artists of our current exhibition The Pow(d)er of I Am Klick Klick Klick and a very very bad bad musical!, have selected films that were central to the development of their new work DEFENDER (2021).

The long awaited publication Computer Grrrls is finally here! The exhibition, curated by Inke Arns and Marie Lechner, was shown in 2018-2019 with great success at HMKV in Dortmund, at La Gaité Lyrique in Paris and at MU in Eindhoven. Neural called it nothing less than "a landmark exhibition"!

For the book presentation, the editors invited Rosa Menkman to present her essay in the form of a performative lecture.

On Wednesday, 30 June a reading by the author Tom McCarthy with a subsequent Q&A takes place online.
