Extraschicht - Night of Industrial Culture at the HMKV
Dortmunder U
Swear words, voice experiments, a human search engine and a waterfall that forms words – for the HMKV Extraschicht there will be performances, installations and hands-on activities for children and adults.
18:00 - 22:00, Leonie-Reygers-Terrasse
The Pannemann memory game shows how it's done: swearing in the Pott. The HMKV invites you to a game of swear word search. On a life-size playing field, up to 6 players can take part in a game of Pannemann at the same time and find out what distinguishes the roast bear from the dried plum.
Moderation: Björn Jung
18:00 - 22:00, Level 3
The HMKV recording studio opens its doors. Here, children and young people can experiment with their own voices, distort them with Mickey Mouse or monster effects and surprise other visitors with funny or scary messages. Young visitors are also invited to familiarise themselves with the HIS MASTER'S VOICE exhibition in a fun way with the children's rally. Free short guided tours for children take place every half hour.
The HMKV will also be sending the Human Browser through the Dortmunder U. Those who meet him can look forward to an exciting encounter and become part of a live Google hack.
18:00 - 24:00, Level 3
In the HIS MASTER'S VOICE exhibition: free short guided tours for adults every full hour.
18:00 - 02:00, Leonie Reygers Terrace
All night long, the waterfall bit.fall by artist Julius Popp welcomes you at the entrance of the U.
