Film Workshop: Fantasy Creatures between Technology and Nature

During the summer holidays, we get creative with artists and filmmakers Lioba Schmidt and Jana Nestler!
Inspired by the current HMKV exhibition We grow, grow and grow, we're gonna be alright and this is our show, we discuss the broad topic "technology and nature" in this project. This inclued current themes, such as environmental protection. We ask ourselves questions like: What would plants and technical devices tell us if they could speak? What could nature-technology-beings look like? How could nature and technology work together? What could our future look like?
Together, we talk to each other about the art, write stories, develop fantasy beings and characters, and bring them to life in film. During the project, you will learn about the different processes of a film production, camera, sound, acting and directing, and become a filmmaker yourself!
