HUMAN BROWSER (since 2004) is a search engine in human form. Via a headset the performer receives search results in real time. S/he shares these results with the bystanding visitors by announcing them loudly. The speech flow is confusing but makes reference to the context time and again. An irritating, surprising and quite amusing encounter!
The performance takes place on five days at the Dortmunder U and are part of HMKV's exhibition HIS MASTER'S VOICE: On Voice, Speech and Language.
Additionally, on June 7, 2013 the Human Browser will perform at Schauspiel Dortmund's Cyberleiber-Festival!
