Summer holiday workshop: Adventures in paradise - We design 3D worlds!

HMKV at the Dortmunder U | Level 3, Workshop room

During the summer holidays, we're going on holiday at the HMKV: we're creating our own little 3D paradise landscapes and working with modelling clay, casting resin, wood, foil, polystyrene, colours and much more. We will be inspired by the exhibition The Paradise Machine by artist Niklas Goldbach. His photographic and video works are presented between palm trees and holiday homes. Architecture and (man-made) paradises play an important role: what is a paradise anyway and can it really exist? We will incorporate such questions and our own ideas into the design of our 3D dream worlds, which you can take home with you at the end of the week.

Target group: Children and young people aged 10 to 16.

Registration & questions: vermittlung@hmkv.de.

The project is funded by the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach-Stiftung.
