Ale Bachlechner: Like You Really Mean It

HMKV Video of the Month

01–31 January 2022

The workshop leader, the tracksuit and the naked monkey unexpectedly find themselves in a workshop on networking in the middle of Death Valley. They try their best to give each other advice, but mostly have to limit themselves to repeating what they've learned from other, often dubious sources. Some of what they talk about and some of what they leave out manifests itself around them in animals, the undead, exploding cars and landslides. Since nothing lasts, at some point there is a long applause and finally evaluation. And since all three are embodied by the artist, their meeting is equal parts group therapy and soliloquy. (AB)
