Lyubov Matyunina in collaboration with Jessica Tucker: The Wreckage

HMKV Video of the Month

01–30 November 2021

A music video against the November depression!

The video tells a story of the distant future, when our civilization will be gone. Through various objects she finds under the layers of sand, a half-human, half-robotic woman tries to understand this civilization. We see only debris and fragments of the world we once knew. The costumes and objects are Lyubov Matyunina's fantasies about what will be left when everything has disappeared due to climate change, among other things. Only nature will remain, the vast ocean and the endless sand.

The video by Lyubov Matyunina was created in collaboration with Jessica Tucker (Fetter), who is responsible for the music and lyrics.
