After-Work ticket: Experience Comrade Sun after work

The HMKV has a special offer to combat the autumn blues: the after-work ticket allows visitors to experience the Comrade Sun exhibition after work at a reduced price. Genossin Sonne (Comrade Sun) is the first exhibition to be held on two levels of the Dortmunder U. From Tuesday to Thursday, admission to the exhibition area on Level 6 is possible 1.5 hours before the exhibition closes with the After-Work ticket for €5. Access to Level 3 remains free of charge. 

On Level 3, visitors get a ’preview’ of the exhibition: the first of over 30 works by 18 artists are on display – including the striking sun from Agnieszka Polska's The New Sun. The exhibition continues comprehensively on Level 6, offering direct access to the sun. 

 

Opening hours for the after-work ticket:

Tuesday & Wednesday: from 16:30 (exhibition closes at 18:00) 

Thursday: from 18:30 (exhibition closes at 20:00)
