Jana Kerima Stolzer and Lex Rütten receive prize for young artists

This year, the City of Dortmund's sponsorship award for young artists goes to Jana Kerima Stolzer and Lex Rütten. The two artists have impressed in the visual arts and design category and share the prize money of 15,000 euros. Last year, the HMKV presented the duo's first institutional solo exhibition.

The exhibition We grow, grow and grow, we're gonna be alright and this is our show, curated by Inke Arns, took a radical change of perspective: it looked at the world from the point of view of non-human organisms, to which we do not usually attribute consciousness.
