Barbara Breitenfellner, *1969 in Austria. Master of Fine Art at the Glasgow School of Art. Her uncanny installations and collages derive from the observation that ‘rather than being overrun by images, reality in fact grows out of (oneiric) images – a reality full of holes, corners and recesses’ (Jens Emil Sennewald). Artist-in-Residence at the Atlantic Center for the Arts, Florida and at the Cité internationale des Arts, Paris. Exhibitions in Germany and abroad, a.o. Autocenter (Berlin), Bétonsalon (Paris), Bongout (Berlin), Transpalette (Bourges), Tramway (Glasgow). Works in public collections: Fonds national d'art contemporain (Paris),Collection of contemporary art of the City of Vienna and bm:ukk (Wien). Lives in Berlin. See www.barbarabreitenfellner.de.

As a publicist, an art critic, and a member of AICA France (http://www.aica-france.org) Dr. Jens Emil Sennewald works in Paris predominantly for German art journals, among them Kunstbulletin (Zurich), springerin (Vienna), Kunstzeitung (Regensburg), Kunst&Auktionen (Munich). As a member of the research group EA 182 at the Université Paris 3, he conducts research on theories of critique, on the interrelations between text and image, on visual space and on drawing. Ute Vorkoeper is a curator and author based in Hamburg. After completing her studies of art pedagogy she wrote her doctoral thesis in 1997 about the Hamburg artist Anna Oppermann. 2007 - 2009 guest professor at the Art Academy Berlin-Weißensee, 2001 - 2004 director of the Hochschulmodellversuch transmedien at the HfBK Hamburg. Since 2009 Artistic Director of the Akademie einer anderen Stadt (art platform of the Internationale Bauausstellung IBA_Hamburg). She curated, a.o. Die Sache mit der Verantwortung. Marion Ermer Preis 2008, Neues Museum Weimar (2008); Anna Oppermann. Ensembles 1968-1992, Württembergischer Kunstverein Stuttgart und Generali Foundation Wien (2007); vom Verschwinden.
