Solar Slow Flow
This yoga class is an invitation to connect with the sun: as a source of energy, a source of rhythm, a fiery heart in the sky – and perhaps even as a secret accomplice in our inner and outer transformation. We gently roll out on the mat, let ourselves be kissed awake by the inner sunrise and recharge our batteries layer by layer – slowly, lovingly, radiantly.
In the midst of the exhibition ‘Comrade Sun’, we let the light penetrate us and devote ourselves to the question in flowing movements, mindful breathing and deep feeling:
What if solar winds also blow within us?
What if not only the earth, but also our bodies are part of a larger cycle – rotating, pulsating, changeable?
Amidst the glow of art and the flickering of cinematic images, we roll out our mats and connect with what burns within us – silent, powerful, sometimes feverish, sometimes tender.
You are in the right place if you are curious about the connection between body, art and cosmos. Come if you are ready for your very own little revolution on the mat.
Lioba is a queer yoga teacher (500h CYA Hatha Vinyasa), artist and scenic researcher. She is in love with meditation, pranayama and the miracle of the body and enjoys working creatively and holistically with people. There is never a lack of humour, curiosity and mindfulness in her classes and artistic work.
